ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Aristos Iatrou, the founder of Kinisis Films. Our niche is capturing the essence of live performances, cinematic films, teasers, and aftermovies.

My foundation stems from 8 years of immersion in street/club dance styles, complemented by a deep dive into the world of theater. Dancing has been my primary artistic expression, but I've also delved into photography and video production over the past decade.

My profound connection to the theater scene and dance community fuels my desire to merge these worlds. I'm driven by the belief that our creative endeavors should be immortalized in a performing state, allowing us to revisit the emotions and nuances of our work. What sets me apart is my dedication to creating visually compelling images that not only capture but also preserve the authentic essence of the performances on screen.

Origin of the Name: CONCEPT KINISIS

The term "KINISIS" derives from the Greek language, translating to "movement." This name refers to the essence of dynamic motion, both in the physical realm of the body and the sequence of images/frames capable of capturing various movements.

The Term “CONCEPT" means the idea of movement that can take different forms. For me, that translates into dance, video, and photography. It's about exploring movement in various ways and expressing that through our creative work.
